Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit applies to designers who are responsible for producing jewellery and object designs. This unit covers the management of the production process and the implementation of a prototype. It includes working with other specialists and industry suppliers to ensure that design specifications and intent are achieved in the final product. Production may be of one-off or mass produced items and be manufactured in-house or using external resources.This unit requires extensive skills and knowledge in jewellery and object design, materials and construction techniques. High level judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate processes or procedures. | ||
